| Indicator Definition | Civil society, public or private actors: This includes a wide range of stakeholders such as civil society organizations (CSOs), public institutions, private sector entities, and other actors involved in governance and service delivery.Supported actors are those who have benefitted from the project either directly through Helvetas or indirectly through our implementing partners. This support can include capacity development, financial assistance, or in-kind contributions such as equipment, training, or materials. They are part of the primary stakeholders and actors important for the project to reach its goals. Consortium partners, service providers and third party collaborators are not included. Financial services: Encompasses a wide array of offerings such as savings accounts, loans, insurance, investment opportunities, mobile banking, and other financial tools that help individuals manage their finances, save, invest, or access credit. Non-financial services: Encompasses a broad range of offerings designed to support and enhance the operations and growth of MSMEs and entrepreneurs. These include business development services, such as training and capacity building in business management, marketing, and technical skills. Other examples are the provision of agricultural inputs like seeds and equipment, technical assistance, advisory services, market linkages, legal and regulatory support, and access to technology and digital tools. These services aim to improve productivity, market access, and overall business sustainability. |

Examples of Actvities
Capacity Building for Financial Institutions: Conduct training programs to enhance the capacities of financial institutions to provide inclusive financial services.
Technical Assistance: Provide technical assistance to financial and non-financial service providers to improve their operations and service delivery.
Partnership Development: Facilitate partnerships between financial institutions, non-financial service providers, and other stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
Support for Business Development Services (BDS): Assist BDS providers in delivering services such as business planning, market analysis, and financial literacy training.
Digital Financial Services: Promote the development and implementation of digital financial services to increase accessibility and efficiency.

How to report
Reporting to Head Office is done annually. Report the total number of civil society, public, or private actors that received support from Helvetas to provide financial and non-financial services without double counting.
Each organisation is counted as one, do not count the number of members. If an organisation has several "divisions" and the support provided to these divisions are clearly separate, e.g. they contribute to different outcomes, then each division can be counted as one.
If an actor participates in multiple activities, they should only be counted once within one calendar year. If an actor received support in a previous calendar year and is receiving support in the current year, they should not be counted in both years. Only new actors should be reported every year
